Even with these past few days being so...ugh. Horrendous. I've been trying to do stuff to forget about it but truth be told, it's been horrible. Even with that though, I check my Yahoo! Japan mail and see that I got the above message.

Made my freaking week. Now I'm just scared to tell them I live overseas, shit. What if they wont send it? IDK...I won that rightfully, and I've never heard them say, "No overseas mails!" we we'll see, I guess. =\

Edit: And just because I'm bored - today I downloaded the first 3 episodes of The Three Theater, which is Bakushou Red Theater's predecessor! I really like the title cards on the shows and I wanted to compare Three Theater's to Red Theater's. So yeah...feel free to ignore this - it just makes me happy. :3

Hannya: It's hard to say because I really like both their title calls. I think the Three Theater one is cute 'cause they're both holding the apple up. (It was in my user info here for the longest too - I recently changed it though.) I really like Red Theater's as well though 'cause they look all cool and shiz. [:

Shizuru: Ikeda (left) just can't make normal faces. LOL, if I had to choose what weird face I like best. Um, maybe...both? I can't pick. As for MuraJun (right) I like his Three Theater one like .00001% more. Both pretty close. [: He's a cutie. I like weirdos apparently.

Wagaya: Um, Tsubokura is a smoking hottie. (highfives ) LMAO, but I like him better with the red scarf on in The Three Theater call. Yatabe (on the right on Red Theater's title call) reminds me of a grandpa on there but I like it better than Three Theaters for some reason. As for Sugiyama (in the middle) I think he looks the same on both. LOL!

Lotti: Nakaoka (right) creeps me out on a regular basis so my opinion is based on Kokako (left), the less creepy half. I like the Red Theater shot of Kokako! He has the strangest eyes too. They're dark and...either expressionless or soulful. You pick.

Well that was fun. LMAO!

OK. Trying to type this up but I'm jittery and shaking.

Short Version: ONCE AGAIN, I WAS LAUGHED AT AND/OR INSULTED BY KANADA SATOSHI.


Long Version: Yoshimoto has this weekly live feed show named Yoshimoto Online. This is my first time actually waking up to watch it because I didn't think I could from America. Well I can!

Today is Hannya & Shizuru's day. So I remembered that you could submit questions! So I submitted my question. I was partly screwing around because I wanted to see if they would read it! So I asked,

私、日本でお笑い芸人になりたいですけど外国人です。
それは大いにありうることですか？「アドビス」 (sic, its supposed to be アドバイス /orz)がありますか？ありがとうございます！
"I want to be an owarai geinin but I'm a gaijin! Is this possible? Do you have any ADVICE?"


So the question/comment time begins and they read two and I'm just submitting away.

All of a sudden I hear, "Okay next is De-de-nande? Destini Johnson?"

Me: HOLY CRAP!

And they read my question on air!!!!!

Here's the sad embarrassing horrifying /dead part though.

I SPELLED ADVICE (in Japanese) WRONG.

UGHHHH I'm like kill me now! So once Kanada read that I was a foreigner, he started reading my message in this HORRIBLE AFFLICTED GAIJIN ACCENT! I DONT HAVE AN ACCENT!!

So they're like, "WELL FIRSTLY! Practice yo Japanese! And then uh...you can join NSC."


Me: O___O

AND THEN HE KEEPS SAYING MY NAME AND LAUGHING!

MY NAME IS NOT FUNNY!!!

And then when they wrap up, he's like

"Destini Johnson *laughs* Destiny is unmei. UNMEI JOHNSON!"
(Unmei = destiny in Japanese. ._.)


Me: WHAT THE HELL?!

So they they thanked all the readers, including me.

Then, I run to Mixi to read the people in Japan's updates but I didn't see any. I wrote a message that said, "I watched Online today! It was kinda embarrassing, spelling advice wrong. But I'm happy!"


And then I got this reply,

Some dude named Kazuhiro e-mailed me, wanting to be language partners. He's like 31, whatever. His reason was, "To be honest, I don't know anything about America but you like Japanese comedy so I'm interested." Um, lulz.

He asked me who my favorite geinin we're, so I emailed him back and mentioned Hannya but I didn't mention all the kickass other younger(ish) groups I like!

Also, its really hard to determine who's a senpai in owarai because there are so many freaking groups!

I know for a fact Dachou Club & Neptune are so that's why I mentioned they were my fave senpai conbi...

But what about all the in-betweens?

See, Hannya has been out since 2005. For owarai, that's still young! FuruPon and...Shizuru are still fairly young.

Jaru Jaru have been out surprisingly long! Lotti as well! Wagaya - they are actually youngish despite them all being the same age of 37. I looked up InJohn (Instant Johnson) too & they've been debuted since 1997! Shiiiiiiit.

Yanagihara Kanako is like, 2 years older than me but I don't know how long she's been active. I've seen her a shit load on shows. Sometimes that the benefit of being a solo geinin - it seems like if you have a certain look and appeal, you'll get a lot of work and never really fall out of obscurity.

Then there's always the downside & the opposite will happen. Like for Sekai no Nabeatsu! /sigh You hardly ever hear him doing things anymore. I loved him too! He was my 最近ハマっているもの of last year. LOL

I want Hannya to do new gags! Throwing that out there.

I think it's because I've been watching owarai...pretty much daily. Almost more than Arashi, yikes! and so after seen FuruPon's, "Annoying Guy" gag or Shizuru's "Seishun" gag like 2354696234565 times its like, "It's still funny but...what else you got?"

Thank God for Red Theater - new shit every Wednesday. *_*

I didn't realize how much of an influential figure Uchimura Teriyoshi was until I researched him today! Guy's a big deal! He really his funny though so no surprise but I just didn't realize how much of one he was.

I bought three postcards to write & send to some Yoshimoto geinin~ :) I already sent Hannya a letter so these are for JaruJaru, Shizuru, and Fruit Punch.

Everyone else I like on RT aren't with Yoshimoto. So...they'll wait. Nyahaha.

Firstly, the Reiko skit!

Karaoke Go-kon's are pretty tough...LOL
By the way, Tsubokura's "Yoshiko" character is pretty. LOL

I loved when they were singing "Sakuranbo" by Ai Otsuka, Reiko kept shouting, "Yada! Yada!" in between.

Also, when Gotou & Ikeda's characters had mentioned that they brought sake, Reiko was like, "No way! Getting drunk is a bad idea!"

Then Gotou said, "I think drunk/tipsy girls are cute."

Then Reiko grabs the bottle of sake and drinks a ton of it! Then she said, "I'm tipsy~"

Hannya's skit was kinda short...
